The Shadow

This is the first day out of the shop after rebuild in November of 2010. Baby-cakes is ready to roll. She had been sitting still in one spot for five years just waiting for someone to turn the key so she could roar like a lioness on the planes.

This picture was taken at the end of a January YMJJ (3 day retreat) in Tallahassee, FL. It was the first shakedown run to test camping, electronics and internet connections. Basically, everything worked as planned but there was a lot more to do.

The show is on and we are on our second trip to Miami (750 miles round trip in two days) in April. This bike is all heart on and off the Interstate. However, on the Interstate and fully loaded with camping equipment and electronics, it is operating at maximum capacity to stay with the flow of traffic.

This is a view of what the Shadow does best. Chew up the miles on the Interstate at highway speed. Bike, rider and road are one.

There are riders that ride bikes and there are bikes that ride .
