Gov. Scott signs law that seperates work licenses from civil rights law

Gov. Rick Scott signed a new law designed to help former felons get to work.The jobs bill will let ex-convicts get licenses and permits they need to hold down jobs without waiting to have their civil rights restored. Scott and the Florida Cabinet recently made that wait at least five years longer by halting the automatic restoration of voting and other civil rights for non-violent offenders.
