New 400-bed offender transitional facility to open on Jacksonville’s Westside

Bridges of America builds a new 400 bed re-entry facility in Jacksonville, Fla. The also run substance abuse programs in 22 prisons for the Department of Corrections. It is worth noting that this is not money that comes from the state of Florida but money that comes from grants, foundation money and private donors. Excluded are those convicted of sex crimes. This group already operates a 140 bed facility in Jacksonville.
