One Hundred and Eight Years of Child Abuse

This is Florida politics at its finest: Florida  jurisprudence is the hallmark of vigilante justice. You will find its routs in slavery, Jim Crow laws, Gideon v. Wainwright, the murder of Frank Valdes, Martin Anderson death controversy and then there was James V. Crosby and now there is Federal investigation confirms abuse at Dozier, suggests children in danger at other facilities

I could have and have written volumes on these topics. However, following the links speak for themselves. The thread that runs through all of this is that in no case did the state of Florida step in to protect its citizens but instead it took federal action to set the record straight.

There is no surprise that the politicians in the state of Florida saw anything wrong with the Dozier school.  They knew about because all too many come to the state legislature through the law enforcement community.

See below links for information on the Dozier school:

Then there is this article that points not to the abuses but loss of jobs:

Then there is the story of the FDLE investigation which is totally contrary to the federal investigaton that lead to its closure: UPDATED: No criminal case at reform school accused of child abuse (VIDEO, DOCUMENT)
Here is the FIDLE investigation: Dozier School
