SFC program puts GED students on path to success

 This is a most relevant and critical article for those women coming out of prison with General Educational Development (GED) diplomas that want to enter college.

Never realized the dropout rate for those with GEDs was so high. It is about 60 percent and I guess the best way to sum it is up is the lack of a good support system while in college. By that I mean a knowledgeable group that can help work through the financial maze as well as sustain you while in college.

This article gives a very good synopsis of the challenges as well as the ways to overcome them.
