Alan Dershowitz of Harvard Law School adds a few comments about Florida Law that flow with the recent discoveries of sloopy evidence control proceedures noted within the Alachua County Sheriff’s office.
”…”I’ve had cases in Florida against prosecutors,” Dershowitz said, “and this is not the first time they have willfully omitted exculpatory evidence. It’s a continuing problem. Here, it’s not only immoral, but stupid….”
Where as he was in particular talking of the Zimmerman case, the above comment is general in nature.
Makes you wonder, just how many people in the state of Florida are in jails and prison because of stupidy, sloppy proceedures or just plain laziness?
Makes me think that Florida law is not only blind but hog tied as well.
