Governor signs bill to make everyone responsible for reporting child sex abuse

The burst of child abuse report legislation that has exploded throughout the country is an interesting social comment on our society as a whole. One would think that it is the most natural thing in the world to report it and once reported then action would follow by responsible authority as a natural course of events.

It could be argued that Penn state was an aberration but I would say that it is not and only reflects a normal state of events not only in the US but worldwide.

Then again it could be only my view point because I operate at an extreme area in the women’s prison for the last 10 or so years. More often than not, the women I have known are in the jam they are in because religion, state and family have failed to protect them when abused and when it was reported failed to take action.
