Chesapeake inmates restore WWII-era Liberty bus

“…On Thursday, bathed in baby-blue paint and smelling of new vinyl, the bus once used by Marines at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina looked as if it had just rolled out of the 1940s. It soon will be headed to Jacksonville, N.C., where it will be a key exhibit in a new museum – the Museum of the Marine – soon to be under construction.
