Group says Florida faces a ‘corruption crisis’

Don’t know why this should surprise me but the placement and magnitude did and I get the sense that it is business as usual. Had no idea there was such a thing as the Florida Commission on Ethics and above all it is a  nonprofit research group.  ‘…On Wednesday, it released a report that cited federal statistics to make the claim that Florida “faces a corruption crisis that threatens the state’s reputation, its economy and its ability to attract new jobs and capital.”

To give it some perspective “…The report ranked Florida as the top state for total federal public corruption convictions from 2000-2010, with 781 convictions, trailed by the three other most-populated states: California, Texas and New York….”
