Sen. Paul proposes bill protecting Americans from drone surveillance

Image Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Tuesday introduced the Preserving Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act (S 3287), which requires a warrant prior to using aerial drones to spy on U.S. citizens. The interesting part of this bill is that it permits the citizen to sue the government if there is surveillance without a warrant.

Would love to be a fly on the wall to see the behind the scene debate between the assorted lobby groups for the law enforcement groups, FBI, DHS and etc. Not to mention IRS and others.
