Arkansas Supreme Court strikes down execution law

This is a rather interesting take on the death penalty. It appears that the Arkansas Constitution requires the legislature to deal with how the state will execute people.

The legislature passed a law that gave the Department of corrections the authority. The Arkansas Supreme Court said it was illegal to do so and tossed it back to the legislature.
