Child abuse in Alachua county is twice the state average.

This is scary “…The prevalence of child abuse among Alachua country is shocking: In 2010, Alachua County had 1200 documented cases of child abuse, which is twice the state average….”  However the question is why or how can it be when the economic engines of the county are education, medicine and government? http://www.gainesville.com/article/20120723/OPINION03/120719552
