Is the era of free checking accounts over?

 The world of banking, checking accounts and ATM machines has changed greatly over the last two or so years. Those coming out of prison should take the time to investigate all the charges related to all the transactions they are expecting to be demanded of their bank. 

First and foremost is that banks no longer look at the depositor as a source of liquidity that requires services so that they can be responsible citizens and contribute to the economy in a meaningful way.

Bank customers are now cash cows and the new objective is to see how they can be milked most creatively. What may seem like chump change fees on a monthly basis become enourmous charges when computed over a year.
