Don’t know that I have ever seen a clearer monologue on corruption at the national level where the national food chain is put at risk. One of the biggest arguments for outlandish prices and extended patents is the cost of research as well as the pier review process associated with the development and production of new products linked to the health and well being of the citizens of this nation.
The monologue is good in that they put the price tag on the law. In this case it is Monsanto but that is a name that could be substituted for any big pharma, tobacco, food, chemical, bank or other business with the bucks to spend in Washington. For sure, in my time, there will be no books reflecting on Profiles in Courage
for the decades gone by.
